Count ballots within one week of the election.Present the ballot to the Board of Directors.Secure the "Consent to Serve" and biographical information from the nominees.For inductions, send international induction fees, membership acceptance forms, and key orders for new members to Headquarters to arrive at least four weeks before inductions.Work with the accountant on the biennial audit and submit a copy to Headquarters.Prepare the annual chapter financial report and return to Headquarters.With the Finance Committee, prepare and submit an annual budget to the Board of Directors.Prepare a quarterly financial report and present a current financial report to the Board of Directors at each meeting.Be an ex-officio member of the finance committee.Be custodian of the funds of the chapter.The President-Elect shall promote the purposes of society and succeed in the role at the end of the successor's presidency term. Administer all chapter business as stated in the bylaws.Serves as the chief representative of the chapter.The positions that are up for the two-year terms: The voting will close on June 20 at midnight. The leadership chair shall oversee awarding research/ nursing practice scholarship applications. The committee shall select nominees and prepare the ballot. The Leadership Succession Committee shall develop members in organizational leadership roles across the span of their careers, and mentor members to assume organizational board and officer positions at all levels of the organization. The membership ambassador shall engage with members regarding membership, prepare a report on the status of chapter membership and reach out to potential members. The awards chair shall prepare applications for the Chapter Key Awards, showcase regional excellence, and celebrate chapter anniversaries. The webmaster shall perform the duties of maintaining the online platforms of the chapter. The secretary shall prepare and distribute meeting minutes and correspondence. The vice president, or designee, shall oversee the planning of at least two chapter programs/events annually. The vice president shall perform the duties of the president in the president's absence.
