Godfrey DiGiorgi (a group admin) edited this topic ages ago. There's a popup menu which makes various and sundry field views of the metadata available on demand. Am I missing something? Thanks!Įditable fields in image metadata are available in the Metadata panel (on the right hand panel in the Library module). But cannot figure out how or where to edit the metadata. I was using the grid, but Purple's "Show Metadata." tip is the one that did it! Thanks!įound this thread because I'm trying to do something similar. Select them all in the grid, not the filmstrip.Īnd ensure that Library menu > Metadata > Show Metadata for Target Photo Only is not checked/enabled. Short of making a new preset and jumping through a bunch of hoops, is there an easy way to bulk/batch update the metadata on a group of shots? I thought if I just selected them all I'd be able to do it in one shot, but the change only stuck with the first one in the group I selected. But I DON'T want to have to methodically go through and do it one-by-one. But I'd like to change the metadata to indicate her as the creator. Last weekend my wife took 30 or so shots with my camera, which I plan to keep in my catalog as they're family shots and all. When I pull my RAW files into LR3 it gets converted to DNG and a preset writes some basic creator info to the metadata fields (creator, copyright, etc.)
